A calm, hands-on start with computers — what the parts do, how Windows works and how to get everyday tasks done without help.
You start with hardware, software and peripherals and input, output and storage devices — the part most self-taught learners skip and later regret. Next comes desktop, taskbar and start menu, opening, resizing and switching windows, basic settings — display, sound and date, creating and renaming folders and copying, moving and deleting files, taught in the sequence a real brief would demand them. Along the way you work hands-on in Windows, File Explorer, Notepad and MS Word, chosen because employers around Chandigarh actually ask for them by name.
Nothing here is watch-only: each session ends with work a trainer has actually looked at, not a recorded video you can skip. The programme runs 1 month at our Chandigarh centre, in small batches by design. Each module ends in something you have built and a trainer has reviewed, so you finish with a portfolio, an industry certificate and — on the six-month and nine-month formats — an internship letter, aimed at Office Assistant, Receptionist and Computer Operator (trainee) roles.
6 modules and 18 topics, taught in the order a real project needs them. Every module is set out in full below.

The Computer Fundamentals course in Chandigarh moves stage by stage, and each stage ends in work a trainer has reviewed.
You work through hardware, software and peripherals, input, output and storage devices and switching on, shutting down and restarting safely, with lab practice on each before the next module begins.
You work through desktop, taskbar and start menu, opening, resizing and switching windows and basic settings — display, sound and date, with lab practice on each before the next module begins.
You work through creating and renaming folders, copying, moving and deleting files and using pen drives and the recycle bin, with lab practice on each before the next module begins.
You work through correct finger position on the keyboard, common shortcuts — copy, paste, undo and right-click, drag and drop, double-click, with lab practice on each before the next module begins.
You work through browsing and searching with chrome, bookmarks, downloads and tabs and recognising unsafe sites and pop-ups, with lab practice on each before the next module begins.
You work through typing and printing a simple letter, scanning and saving a document and keeping the computer clean and updated, with lab practice on each before the next module begins.
The brochure syllabus looks similar everywhere. What differs is who teaches, whether you ever touch real work, and whether anyone picks up the phone after you have paid.
Every session is hands-on. You attempt real work, a trainer reviews it, and you correct it before the next class.
Modules run in the order a real project needs them, so nothing later depends on guesswork.
You work on genuine client requirements under supervision — the first thing an interviewer asks to see.
Your trainer delivers client projects for techcadd's services arm, so examples in class are current.
Batches stay small enough that a trainer sees your screen daily, with open lab hours outside class.
CV reviews, mock interviews and drives with our hiring partners continue after the course ends, until you are placed.
Computer Fundamentals is built for people at several different starting points, and the batch is deliberately mixed.
Join from any stream. You start Computer Fundamentals from fundamentals with no assumed knowledge, and most students run it alongside a degree using the weekday or weekend batch.
If you are finishing a degree, Computer Fundamentals is a short route from graduation to a job application with something to show. Enter placement season with project work in hand instead of a blank CV.
The weekend and evening batches exist for people already earning. Career switchers typically become interview-ready within five to six months without leaving their current job.
Owners take Computer Fundamentals to stop outsourcing work they cannot judge for themselves. Freelancers take it to bill clients beyond Chandigarh, since a remote skill is not limited by location.
A gap on the CV counts for less than work you can point at. The course starts at zero and finishes with a portfolio and a documented internship letter — what an interviewer actually asks about after a break.
If free videos left you with notes but nothing finished, what changes here is a trainer who reviews what you built this week, and a deadline attached to every module.
Everything below is installed on the lab machines and used on live work, not shown once in a slide and forgotten.
Complete the course with a portfolio of live projects and receive an industry-recognised certificate, plus a documented internship letter.
Industry certificate
Verifiable online, issued on completion of your assessment and project.
Internship letter
Issued for real client work you contributed to — not for attendance.
Live client projects
Actual briefs with deadlines, reviews and a deployment at the end.
Doubt-clearing sessions
Scheduled weekly, plus open lab hours whenever a trainer is on the floor.
