Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Browsers also offer websites two similar places to keep information — local storage and session storage — and this policy covers those as well.

2. What this site stores

This site stores two things, both needed for it to work as you would expect. Neither is shared with anyone else.

• Your cookie choice — a cookie and a local storage entry, both named techcadd_cookie_consent. They record which categories you allowed and when, so the notice is not shown on every page. Kept for one year, after which you are asked again. They contain no name, contact detail or visitor ID.
• Your Ask Bhuvi conversation — a session storage entry named techcadd_bhuvi_chat. It keeps the chat on screen as you move between pages, and is removed when you close the tab. Questions you send are passed to our server to be answered.

3. Analytics

With your permission, this site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can tell what is useful. It is loaded only after you switch Analytics on in the cookie notice (or choose Accept all), and not at all otherwise.

Once loaded, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_9G92VN7E2K cookies, which Google keeps for up to two years. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. Switching Analytics off in Cookie Settings stops it from sending anything further.

The same switch loads Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — and turns it into heatmaps and session replays so we can see where pages are confusing. Clarity masks text you type into forms. It sets the _clck cookie, kept for one year, and _clsk, kept for one day, and Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement. Switching Analytics off stops Clarity too.

4. Preferences and marketing

The cookie notice also lists preferences and marketing. This site sets no cookies in either today — it runs no advertising or social-media pixels and saves no preferences.

The switches are there so that your choice is already recorded if that changes. Anything added in one of those categories will respect the choice you have made, and this page will be updated first.

5. What we do not do

• We do not sell data collected through cookies.
• We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you across other websites.
• We do not store your enquiry details in a cookie.

6. Third-party embeds

Some content on this site is served by another company, which may set its own cookies when that content loads. These are set by that company under its own policy; the switches in our cookie notice do not control them.

• Google Maps — the map on our contact page.
• YouTube — videos, played through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). Student testimonial videos load only when you press play; their preview images come from YouTube's image servers.
• Vimeo — where a page embeds a Vimeo video.

7. Controlling cookies

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.

Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies and site data in its settings, and offers a private browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. If you block or delete what this site stores, it keeps working: the cookie notice will simply ask again, and a chat in progress will not carry over to the next page.

8. Changes

If we add or remove a category of cookie, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
