You start with levels, planes and wcs and creating and importing geometry — the part most self-taught learners skip and later regret. Next comes machine and control definitions, stock setup and work offsets, tool libraries, feeds and speeds, contour, pocket and facing and drilling, tapping and chamfer, taught in the sequence a real brief would demand them.
